Who knew that I would one day be standing up in front of people teaching?? The shy, quiet one who likes everything nice, orderly and simple...Some might argue that the shy quiet days are gone...but the nice, orderly and simple is absolutely still here....So the idea of stepping out and teaching classes did not appeal to me. It certainly did not sound simple.
But ya know what? I've invested alot of time into learning different things about internet marketing, organizing, and several other areas...when people started bringing this to my attention umm...years ago actually(it took years for me to go through with it...try not to be like me in that way)....But Yes...the classes are here!!!!!! SIMPLICITY: It's Way More Than Simply Organizing...
You know just when I was getting comfortable with Simplicity By Nicole being about organization, God began widening the vision. It's been all about me getting people organized so they can reach their goals...but what kind of example am I to my clients if I don't go after mine (my goals and dreams) with everything I have in me? So, as I continue to help people get organized, I'm stepping out into some of the things that are in my heart to do.
I learn so much from my clients. Most of them are creative souls. They are visionaries. They have so many dreams within them. They are ready to launch out and go for it. It's just that they need help structuring and organizing.
I, on the other hand, have the structuring and the organizing down. It's just that when it comes to really stepping out into these wonderful organizational structures that I've created in my mind, I sometimes am hesitant. At times, I'm even more than hesitant. I just completely ignore it!! But alas, God is working on me just as I slowly work on my clients to get them to the point of having a strong foundation of systems in their lives so that they can aim and shoot at their goals, hitting the mark more times than not.
It's a journey. It's a process. Little by little we get where we need to be if we simply bend a little...OR straighten up a little depending on what we need. So, I'm bending...I'm reaching...I'm stretching...I'm beginning to release those dreams that are in my heart to bring them into reality just like I encourage my clients to do...

Discovering Simplicity Is Not That Simple...
It was about four years ago, while helping a friend organize her office, that the idea for Simplicity By Nicole came about. My friend Lisa said, "You are really having fun and I am not. You should consider helping other people because you're good at it." It was right around that time that all of the home improvement shows were popping up. Many of them were combining design and organizing. So with some encouragement from Lisa, I began digging a little deeper into the idea of organizing as a profession.
Who knew that trying to bring a little Simplicity to other people would take me on a wild and crazy journey in my own life? What began as an idea to help people get rid of clutter in their homes and manage time more effectively, has turned into an avenue to help people realize and fulfill purpose, vision, and dreams!!! So, whether that is being accomplished through organizing, de-cluttering, setting up systems, scrapbooking, goal-setting, project management...the list could go on, the focus of Simplicity By Nicole is to get people, families, businesses, ministries, etc. to the place where dreams are becoming a reality and purposes is being fulfilled.
To do this for others, God is continually taking me on a journey of realizing purpose, vision, and dreams. This blog is intended to capture pieces of that journey; to share lessons learned; to supply readers with tips and resources as well as provide an arena for people to share their own experiences of realizng their own purposes, visions, and dreams.
Come along on the journey with me. I'm dancing into my destiny. My prayer is that you will dance into yours...I HOPE YOU DANCE!!!!
